I am a Ph.D. Candidate in English Literature, Criticism, and Textual Studies at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville studying the writings and lives of Medieval holy women, focusing on their spiritual perspectives and prophecies using or about the natural world and the environment. In this capacity, my research focuses on intersections of gender and environmental studies. My research often focuses on women's authority and autonomy and medieval environmentalism. As a Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Tennessee, I translate my passion for literature into helping students find their voice and hone their composition skills to become effective communicators both inside and outside of the classroom.
