Growing up, I was part of Tennessee 4-H and UT Extension. When I had the opportunity to transition to my current role, I realized that I could make a difference in the lives of youth and adult learners through my programs. Being an Extension Agent has provided the opportunity to learn and develop many skills and my personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself: I can successfully manage multiple projects and activities at one time. -I prioritize the immediate needs and utilize my time management skills to ensure quality programming. -I excel under pressure and in stressful situations.-I delegate tasks when necessary.I develop, educate, and train professionals to succeed. -I create relevant materials with subject matter specialists.-I utilize creative ways to facilitate and present materials. -I assess feedback and strive to improve my programs.My passion is to help people succeed with the tools they need, whether they are students, professionals, or community members. I collaborate with subject matter specialists, stakeholders, and volunteers to create relevant, engaging, and impactful materials and activities. I also use learning management systems and other technologies to deliver and assess my programs. I am always eager to learn new skills and improve my practice.
