Assist in ADL’s of 8-12 patients per shift, activities including transferring, hygiene, eating, applying prothetic and/or orthotic devices and more. Follow protocol and policies set in place for standard and advanced safety precautions. Provide care for isolated residents with contact, droplet and airborne infections. Provide routine perineal and catheter care including moisture barriers and ointments as needed. Provide efficient and timely documentation of all care provided, along with communication with nurse on duty. Identify any skin irritations or advancing wound status and report immediately to nurse. Provide compassionate and genuine care for each patient as an individual.
