I am a third-year student at the University of Florida majoring in Finance and minoring in economics. Through high-level courses and active participation in student organizations at the University of Florida, I've gained a set of practical skills that are directly applicable to the business industry. Having spent over three years in customer service, I have valuable insights into the front lines of business, increasing my curiosity about its inner workings. My academic journey has always led me towards classes that intertwine economics and the practical application of mathematics. This blend of theoretical understanding and analytical skills is a key driver in my pursuit of information. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work at Northwick Capital, where I learned about investing and markets. This experience provided me with invaluable insights and solidified my commitment to a career that involves leveraging market research skills to help individuals achieve their financial goals. With a profound interest in economics and finance, my career aspirations are to contribute to a firm through corporate finance. I am dedicated to being a lifelong learner, constantly seeking ways to enhance my skills and knowledge.Clifton Strengths: Includer, Analytical, Restorative, Strategic, and FuturisticI would love to connect and can be reached at amanda.pedersen@ufl.edu
