CurrentAdobe Stock: Responsible for managing the legal team that supports Adobe’s content licensing business (currently a repository of 430 million assets). Lead the content acquisition strategy for multiple content types. Lead analysis of industry and market trends and identify opportunities that impact the Stock and content business, including AI/ML technologies, Digital Services Act, content moderation laws and litigation. Responsible for Stock’s multi-tiered go-to-market strategy. Partner closely with cross-functional business and legal teams to evolve overall strategy for content acquisition and go to market. AI/ML: Member of a small cross-discipline senior legal team to identify, analyze and resolve legal and business issues related to GenAi. This includes release of Adobe Firefly, analysis of current and proposed laws implicating content authenticity and GenAi and proactive and reactive PR strategy. Additionally, I co-lead the legal team responsible for the overall strategy for the acquisition of all content for generative AI/ML training for all of the Digital Media products, including Adobe Firefly and Adobe Research. I direct the team operations and internal processes and implemented policies to improve output and create efficiencies (e.g., templatized agreements for specific use cases, client training, and no legal touch agreements). Content Authenticity Initiative: Lead the legal team supporting the Content Authenticity Initiative, including implementation of Content Credentials (a nutrition label for content) in Adobe’s products, all product related legal issues and collaborating with the communications team on CAI thought leadership. Work closely with senior business leadership, government relations, and PR teams to advocate for the inclusion of specific transparency requirements in laws addressing online content and combatting disinformation.
