Assist within the Department of Education to promote cultural knowledge amongst staff in their engagement within the Aboriginal community and in their curriculum development to ensure inclusivity in children's learning. Support remote schools in their learning and development within a remote setting.Achievements - - Collation and delivery of the "Parents in Tune with Education" package in the Mid West Region- Developed Family Tree Sessions for feuding students to know their connections- Building rapport with students where bullying evident to instill a zero tolerance to violence, bullying and less suspensions amongst students- Supported students and families through the Pre-Exclusion Panels- Cross Cultural Presentation of the department's "Our Story" package to teachers throughout the Mid West Region- Worked as a team with other Aboriginal staff to develop NAIDOC activities within schools and AIEO Conferences for Aboriginal staff members to participate in their learning and development- Assist teachers to develop culturally inclusive lesson plans for Aboriginal students that were more appropriate to their learning in remote regions of the Mid West Region- Develop and research available programs locally that would be more appropriate than classroom teaching for Aboriginal students.

Contribution to the development and implementation of the Geraldton Aboriginal Cyclical Offending Program. Research and analysis of trends conducted to identify local problems and liaise with state government departments to provide local solutions through implementation of local service agreements.Achievement- Development of the "Barriers to Aboriginal Employment Workshop", a three pronged approach to employment of Aboriginal youth in Geraldton- Arranged a Bush Camp for juvenile offenders with local Police in attendance - Advocate for Aboriginal employment within Tender Process for major Building Construction within Geraldton- Negotiated Local Service Agreements annually between the Aboriginal community and state government departments- Arranged annual Christmas BBQ's for the Aboriginal community to build rapport with the state government departments and their Regional Managers.
