As well as delivering all functions associated with the preparation and completion of each fortnightly pay run.Perform the role of System Administration for TasPorts Human Resource Information System (HRIS);Coordinate system upgrades, including reviewing, evaluating and testing of new software upgrades and ensuring that integration with other key systems is maintained; Monitor and maintain system security by ensuring that control rights and access privileges are maintained in accordance with established protocols;Carry out regular audits to ensure the maintenance of the systems integrity;Project managing HRIS projects, including development of core modules;Provide training and training documentation for HRIS system users; Ensure HRIS systems and processes accurately reflect the requirements of TasPorts industrial instruments and statutory obligations;Develop and maintain Organisational reporting tools:Collate, manage and report on HR metrics;In-conjunction with other People and Culture employees, assist with TasPorts’ resource and workforce planning processes; andEstablish and maintain employee records within the HRIS, process approved remuneration increases, terminations and other complex payroll functions;Analysis of payroll dataProcess end to end fortnightly payroll, providing financial reports to relevant departments;Ensure TasPorts meets legislative and Award/EBA requirements on payroll related matters;Provide a high level interpretation and application of TasPorts’ industrial agreements as related to payroll and to keep abreast of changes in taxation and superannuation legislation, ensuring appropriate application of required changes; Show less
