As an educator now for the last 13 years, I have developed a real passion for learning, teaching/mentoring others, and being a positive influence and role model in the lives of my students. I’ve continued to develop and improve my skills inside and outside of the classroom in the areas of personal leadership, organization, communication and facilitation, collaboration, building strong relationships and partnerships with parents and faculty, fostering a positive learning environment and creating differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all of my students. On a personal and professional level, I’ve also continued to follow my passions in other diverse areas which include health, wellness, entrepreneurship and travel. I have developed a strong desire and commitment to personal fitness training and healthy living. In doing so, I’ve become increasingly interested in helping others set goals and make healthy changes for themselves as well and may consider a career in this area in the future.
