Diagnoses consisted of language disorders secondary to autism, TBI, neurological differences, feeding difficulties and oral dysphagia, and Down syndrome. Worked with children who utilize cochlear implants to improve auditory awareness and processing abilities, along with habilitating children diagnosed with speech sound disorders and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) to improve intelligibly. •Focused skills in AAC assessment and application while working closely to improve communication partner skills to increase success of carryover across different environments. •Provided in-service training to faculty members regarding evidence to support AAC practice and strategies. •Treated dual language learning children and worked closely with bilingual therapist while incorporating parent participation in sessions.•Participated in interdisciplinary collaboration to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
