Deputy management of busy GP practice including staff schedules, room bookings, monitoring and production of reports including statics- targets and KPIs. Ensuring staffing and appointment levels match demand and adhering to contractual specification’s. All HR functions across two busy practices, including job advertising, JDs, interviews, shortlisting, new starter checks, inductions, training and health checks. Ongoing HR such as sickness monitoring, 1-1’s, reviews, appraisals and disciplinary meetings. Setting up practice procedures and processes and implement changes. Active role in CQC visits and documentation. Close liaison with Confederation and lead for Care Opinion (review site) pilot at our sites including conference attendance and collateral. All Heath and safety procedures specifically covid secure measures in most recent years. Ensure compliance to all regulations in terms of building and fixture checks, setting up schedule of services and management of issues including seeking resolution. Taking on project work where necessary and out of hours call outs to site for issues. Liaising with multiple contractors and management firms to ensure weekly, monthly and yearly checks carried out including remedial work. Sourcing quotes for work required and oversight of such works to ensure standards and completion.

Responsible for the improvement of the service offered to patients attending the Emergency Department and the Urgent Care Centre by raising the profile and understanding of primary care services within the community and the value of GP registration. Daily liaison with clinical staff in the appropriate redirection of patients and arranging follow up care in alternative health care settings as appropriate. Responding to constant changes and ensuring that all staff were supported. Working closely with the GPs on site to build a rapport and ensure the smooth running of the service.
