Establishing a brand new Montessori Elementary program, including a robust parent and board education component

Taught students with multiple ability levels and various previous exposure to Montessori curriculum. Co-ordinated with support staff including SLP and OT. Took on leadership role in organizing upper elementary team and building consensus to create a portfolio reporting system. Administered standardized testing and familiarized myself with New Mexico state standards and 6 Traits writing assessments.

Supported classroom teachers in both primary and elementary classrooms. Created and maintained Montessori materials. Aided students in conflict negotiation and development of social/emotional awareness.
