I am responsible for the management and administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. My specific responsibilities are in the following functional areas: employment, recruiting, performance management, information management, benefits, compensation, and community involvement.

As the HR Generalist for the Distribution Center, I was responsible for the daily administration of all HR functions; recruiting, labor relations, benefits, safety, employee relations, and general administrative support. In this role I was also the Safety Coordinator and managed the safety programs for the facility.

I managed the HR department for two Target stores in the Omaha-Lincoln market in my time at Target. My responsibilities included recruiting, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations and safety. As a manager in the store, I was also heavily involved in operations and competed the regular manager rotation to lead the opening and closing shifts for the store. In addition, I was the HR trainer for the district, HR resource for the district and a member of the campus recruiting team.

As an advocate for the participants in the program, I developed individualized treatment plans for adults with severe mental illnesses. This involved assisting the participants with obtaining community services and helping them transition into independent living. I also trained the new support specialists and coordinated the program operations.

In this role I was the Assistant in the male group home for at-risk youth. I was responsible for the well-being of up to 20 youth and coordinated all functions of the group home to include, staff schedule and the youth activities and appointments.
