I have a diverse work background in teaching, franchise ownership, school leadership, and human resources which have all fulfilled my passion for connecting with people. I have always set out with clear goals for myself whether it was tied to academics or athletics in school or workplace achievements I am designed to strive for excellence. My belief is that everyone wants to experience joy and fulfilment at work. People want to feel valued and know that their contributions are appreciated and have a positive impact on the team. In each of the various roles I've held over the years , I've had the opportunity to lead people, to inspire and be inspired to create collaborative, caring spaces. What a gift!Some of my identified strengths include communication, relationship-building, interpersonal skills and resilience in difficult times. My mindset has always been inclined to believe that challenges are just opportunities for change and growth, and there is always a lesson to be learned so that we may improve for next time. Validating the challenging experiences while consistently demonstrating optimism is important for leaders in these times.
