- Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the organization's operations and programs in order to be Washington State’s trusted resource for funeral education and advocacy;- Collaborated with Board of Directors to shape executive strategy and implement that strategy;- Planned and managed the annual budget;- Managed business-to-business contracts with funeral service providers across the state; and- Served as advisor to local funeral membership groups nationwide. Achievements: increased individual giving by 86% during my tenure, established new financial and CRM database management process controls; negotiated a new contract with a natural organic reduction provider for the membership of over 70,000 people for the first time in history.

- Designed and implemented new systems to ensure reliable data could be extracted from the CRM database to improve decision-making and support strategic planning;- Designed and implemented the fundraising and marketing strategies; - Fundraising achievements: doubled individual giving in a two year span, established a legacy giving program and non-cash gifts program;- Project manager for state-wide educational outreach; and- Event planning.

- Oversaw the administrative, financial, and operational planning and execution of the organization;- Oversaw program implementation at schools throughout San Diego County;- Designed and implemented new processes and accurately documented workflows for all trainings, projects and operations of the organization;- Expanded the suite of services through the development of a workplace training at a university medical center;- Initiated a scholarship to award underserved high school students with financial aid and mentorship to support their transition to college;- Applied for multiple grants to subsidize services;- Developed monthly financial reports using Quickbooks Online; and- Designed and implemented a system for digital file storage and sharing.

While at the NCRC, I worked with minors and their parents/caregivers who were convicted of high level misdemeanors or low level felonies as an alternative to going through the traditional criminal justice system. Following the Restorative Justice model, I facilitated community conferences with the youth responsible, the person harmed, and community members as a way of holding the youth accountable for their actions. This position required a high level of emotional intelligence as I handled confidential and sensitive information, and communicated with diverse groups of people.
