6 years in Business Development and managing the Fundraising team for The Benevolent Society offered incredible opportunities to work with passionate and committed people, to find new and sustainable ways to fund cutting edge programs that could change people's lives and to sustain the long history of support from dedicated donors. A major achievement was developing and launching Race for Change, the annual corporate team bike race that provided a competitive forum for fast and determined supporters. Raising funds from year 1 and achieving over $500k in 3 years, connecting 40+ corporations to Benevolent Society and establishing long term relationships was lots of fun and very rewarding. Fundraising is very competitive, difficult and slow to yield - this taught me patience, tolerance and never to give up.

22 years in media planning culminated at Media Edge CIA. It was a great place to end that career - top picks from those years were the establishment of a training and personal development program that held staff turnover < 10% and running the campaign that took MEC to B&T Media Agency of the Year 2 years in a row and Ad News Media Agency of the Year concurrently.
