● Purchasing all materials and goods – raising and submitting purchase orders ● Maintaining supplier relationships and interacting with suppliers on a day to day basis - following up ETA’s on purchase orders; requesting prices; checking availability of stock ● Completing special projects by organising and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results● Adhering to the purchasing budget by negotiating prices for bulk orders and monitoring all costs for each project ● Reviewing job measure sheets and checking requisition of goods and components● Data entry of all orders ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner● Tracking the status of all orders on a daily basis● Facilitating local pickups & deliveries from suppliers and manufacturers ● Liaising with freight forwarders for international freight from suppliers in Italy, Germany, China and USA● Dealing with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods; actioning credit requests where applicable● Providing communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices● General MYOB duties – updating and sending customer invoices, updating and applying supplier bills● Checking that the goods receipting process is adhered to before entering invoices for payment● Processing creditor invoices including reviewing of invoices, encoding of invoice and filing in a timely and accurate manner● Liaising with suppliers and staff in response to outstanding invoices and payment queries● Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
