Communications lead for the Global Claims Operations organization. I created multi-channel internal communication strategy plans for senior leadership and to support employee engagement programs across an organization of roughly 1,000 colleagues. Channels included newsletters, email memos, Yammer, intranet pages, and meetings.Duties included writing, editing, distributing key messaging in alignment with corporate communication and HR related information.

I managed Internal Communications for the AIG Consumer Insurance division (comprised of several product groups and roughly 4,000 employees); duties included managing and updating the Consumer Intranet and consulting each business area to construct and implement internal campaigns, ensuring all messaging was in alignment with Consumer and Corporate. I also assisted the Head of Consumer Communications with sensitive information and quarterly results information. Our group was responsible for producing town hall events and other webcasts. Before joining the corporate communications department, I was the Senior Marketing Specialist for the Accident & Health division of AIG. My duties included writing, editing and producing marketing materials, often working with vendors for design and copy content. I also managed the internal newsletter production and delivery. In addition, I assisted the sales and marketing team to learn how to track meeting and other marketing activities within Salesforce.com. I was the main point person for Chatter, the enterprise social media network for Consumer Insurance and trained the A&H division and other groups. I worked on a cause marketing campaign called aHead of the Game meant to generate leads and create goodwill in the communities we serve.

I continued my career with the Accident & Health division of AIG by supporting regional management, executive leadership, sales & underwriting and others to reach their goals and promote our products and engagement throughout the country. I continued to manage broker and client events for A&H but also assisted corporate communications with AIG wide events such as RIMS, CIAB and other AIG senior management events. I became a Salesforce.com superuser and developed a strategy for A&H to implement the tool to assist the sales and underwriting teams to create efficiencies and maximize effectiveness.

As a marketing coordinator I continued to assist the regional sales and underwriting teams, executive leadership, and profit center management to produce marketing and fulfillment materials for brokers and clients as well as employee engagement including planning training and other events.

I started my career with AIG providing assistance to sales and underwriting representatives to provide materials for brokers and clients. I managed many broker/client/internal events including product launches.
