Get knocked down, but get back up faster. Being a student athlete, I’ve learned how to master “hard” tasks and adaptivity throughout my athletic and academic career.As a student, I've always been eager to learn. I am currently studying for my undergraduate degree in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations, as well as a Marketing minor at Bushnell University. Being a collegiate student-athlete requires an immense amount of persistence, organization, and grit. Though playing a sport in college is difficult, I chose to do it because I value quality of life and passion. I am passionate about the things I love, and playing basketball and being a student are fulfilling to my life. My basketball career has prepared me to tackle tasks with a winning mindset; being an OSAA State Champion (2019) and GNAC Conference Champion (2022), I am trained to be a winner in all aspects of life. Outside of the school year, I coach and organize week-long sports camps at Skyhawks Sports Academy as a director to stay involved with the sports community. I am looking to use my three years of experience as a director to translate over to leadership opportunities within the field of communications and marketing after graduation. Overall, I want to use my winning mentality and leadership skills to help other people find and live through their passions.
