Duties included application troubleshooting; system stability monitoring and resolving reported problems for customers around the world. This can often involve in-depth investigation thru application logs, running test scenarios and multiple database queries to find the root cause of an issue while liaising with development for a potential fix and updating the customer of all progress. Because of my CAD and Survey background I also assisted in Site Positioning Systems (SPS), Site Controller Software SCS900, and Office Software such as BC-HCE and Paydirt, as well as assisting the infield Support Group with machine installations when needed. inField SupportI am capable of conducting GCS900 ARO, GCR and CGC Machine Installation, Calibrations, Measure-ups and Troubleshooting on various machine types which include, but are not limited to Dozers, Motor Graders, Excavators, Compactors, Concrete and Asphalt PaversI am a Certified Military Trainer and conducted GCS900 Installation and Operation & Troubleshooting Training Classes for the construction corps of our Military which cover basic machine operation and basic system troubleshooting the Grade Control System.

My job duties included...-Conducting regular trainings on the use of SiteVision Office Software in support to Machine Control Operations. -Producing finished drawings of site design and As-Built Site information.-Creating Road Design Files and calculating coordinates for points to be stake out in the field.-Creating contour maps and calculating volumes from points gathered in the field in AutoCad2000/SurvCad.-Digitizing paper plans when electronic copies were not provided to estimate yardage.-Created 3D site models to guide our GPS Bulldozers using Terramodel and SiteVision Office.-Conducting regular trainings for Foremen, Machine Operators and Surveyors on Trimble GCS900, Survey Controller and general construction surveying practices.-Performing preliminary site visits Site Surveys,GPS Site Calibrations and installing GPS Base Stations to be used for surveying and Machine Control.-I performed GPS/GNSS Machine Control Troubleshooting on Heavy machinery that was Equipped with GPS via telephone and in person. Including Firmware/Version updates on radios and Machine Control Systems.-I worked closely with Precision Products Technical support for a fast and effective solution when problems arise that I am not familiar with. -I conducted periodic training for the foremen and grade checkers on the use of GPS/GNSSS Rovers and the loading of files on the Flash Card for Machine Control. -I also performed many duties as a general construction surveyor when I was not setting up a site or troubleshooting equipment. Performing Original ground topographic surveys to be used in comparing actual excavation to the bid numbers, Centerline staking, bluetopping, Slope Staking, Pipe Layout, and general grade checking are duties that are preformed regularlyWorking in the concrete, grade / drain division, and estimating departments, has given me a wealth of knowledge in the bidding, site design and construction aspects of my job.
