I hold an industry specific Graduate Certificate of Career Development Practice which I completed in March 2024. I provide one on one consultations with 16 -18 year old students of Mildura Senior College to assist with researching, partake in discussions with students and their parents/carers and tertiary course applications for those students wanting to undertake further tertiary study after completing Year 12 at an undergraduate level. I also assist with subject selection to ensure students are selecting subjects which align with their tertiary pathway. A Career Action Plan is created for each and every student, a continuous working document to help with future employment and training, skills developed and yet to be developed and recognising those transferable skills linking them to a variety of job opportunities. I also work in the space of Traineeships and Apprenticeships providing those students who do not wish to partake in tertiary study with resources to seek employment.

Employed as the Industry Engagement Coordinator, a newly created position to link our MSC students with local industry to show case what employment opportunities are available locally. Industry excursions to local businesses and guests speakers in the classroom demonstrated the skills and further tertiary training opportunities are required for industry specific job roles ranging from entry level positions to further tertiary studies
