Hello! My name is Amanda Solis and I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I received my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and received my MA at Eastern Illinois University. I've learned the ways of the city, how to appreciate a small town, and how to adapt to my environments through my work and my art. I worked as a graphic designer graduate assistant at Eastern Illinois University during my MA program and developed my abilities as a working designer, while also working as a painter in my graduate studio and building on my thesis. Currently, I am based in Chicago where I continue my art practice with digital, painting, and drawing mediums. My work focuses on relationships between our own selves and with each other through high saturation, typography, and bodily representations.
