I quickly established myself as an integral part of a three-person design firm, and within 4 years helped lead the growth of the studio to a six-person creative team. I actively developed strong client relationships and directed a team of designers, creating a role for myself that allowed me to pursue my career goals. I created stronger, more efficient processes internally so that the team could continue to provide the best service to clients, further build their skill sets, and stay on top of designtrends and technology advances in our industry. I managed the studio’s single largest client solely for three years. I worked closely with their marketing team to ensure that I understood their brand as much as they did, and worked with my team to ensure that all of the projects (large or small) adhered the brand standards and were on target with messaging. I worked on the print creative, as well as with my team to successfully execute projects across multiple platforms including web, video, and illustration. I managed all the projects and was responsible for the timelines, budgets and creative direction of every piece of artwork that left the studio.

I operated and managed a professional graphic design studio for 3 years with sole responsibilityfor the design team, studio operations, finances, and client relations. I successfully assistedwith the blending of two firms including managing client relations and shifting a paper-basedrecords system to a computer-based system.
