• Led the planning, direction, and oversight of the Information Commons program (a student employee partnership with the Center for Academic Technology that provides research and technology support service)• Managed the library’s service point including: hiring and training front line staff; daily problem-solving; data collection and analysis; development, clarification, and enforcement of library policies• Engaged educational best practices and technology to create training, online resources, and instructional sessions for faculty, staff, and students• Apply expert research and communication skills to help patrons find, evaluate, analyze, and ethically use information resources• As a faculty member, engaged in scholarly and professional engagement including co-chairing the campus Core Curriculum Committee, serving as a voting member of Faculty Senate, and presenting at conferences

• Served as the first Instruction Librarian at Defiance College. Established the instruction program and formed strong relationships with faculty members of all divisions through intentional outreach and marketing of services• Train and offer ongoing support to faculty for the campus learning management system, Moodle, and other instructional technologies

• While still acting as Instruction Librarian, assumed the Interim Director role and led the integrated library and learning commons staff of seven, including one professional librarian and six administrative staff• Collected, analyzed, and shared data with staff and administration to inform decisions and suggest improvements for resources and services• Served as the primary administrator for the college’s course evaluation system, the library and learning commons website, and all electronic resources

• Developed curriculum and taught the graduate-level professional enrichment course Little Life Savers: Technology Tools You Need to Know About • Taught and co-taught skills-focused First Year Seminars with first generation and transfer college students
