I recently returned to the US after living in Germany for two years. There I studied International Industrial Management, wrote my thesis in the TT division of Bosch, and graduated with an MBA in 2019. I collaborated in multi-cultural teams with students from over a dozen different countries, and worked as an intern at Drees und Sommer where I communicated exclusively in German. Back in 2013, I began my career as a high school mathematics teacher at Southfield Public Schools where I designed, delivered, adapted and documented engaging math lessons. This job helped me develop so many skills including: time-management, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, multi-tasking, communication, presentation, and negotiation. There was also a heavy focus on paying attention to detail and documenting as much as possible. After a few short years, I realized that I wanted to transition to a career outside of the public education system. This led me to a Learning and Development Specialist position at H.W. Kaufman Group. Here, I played an integral role in the design, development, launch and management of the new Kaufman Institute training website. Collecting and analyzing data to guide modifications to the website was crucial to a successful launch. I also assisted with new hire orientation/training, webinar setups and on-site training. I am a well-rounded MBA graduate with a diverse, international employment background.
