I have an endless appetite for learning and this has let me to a varied and interesting career. Through all my work runs a common thread of increasing access to information and resources, particularly for marginalized content and communities. I have a Master of Library and Information Studies degree, but I have rarely worked in a library, and instead I like to apply these skills in other realms. Like creating thorough subject indexes for non-fiction books, creating alternative classification systems and taxonomies for cataloguing alternative content, and furthering open access to scholarly research through managing the development of open source scholarly publishing tools.I'm currently working as a consultant and indexer and welcome new opportunities to improve the management, access, and discoverability of your content, collections, data, or organizational knowledge.Special subject expertise: LGBTQ+, gender and sexuality, decolonizing metadata, indigenous knowledge management, open source software, zines and radical publishing
