With about five years of work experience in the store industry as management, I was a General Manager at Loaf 'N Jug, a subsidiary of Kroger that operates over 170 stores in five states. As well as a General Manager at the Family Dollar at these locations I oversaw all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory, merchandising, customer service, and safety. I can also manage a team of up to 15 employees, providing them with training, coaching, and feedback to help them grow and excel in their roles. One of my core competencies is personnel management, which enables me to hire, retain, and motivate high-performing staff. Another competency is training and development, which allows me to design and implement effective learning programs and initiatives that enhance the skills and knowledge of my team and myself. My mission is to provide a positive and convenient shopping experience for our customers, while ensuring profitability and compliance for the company. I am passionate about the store industry and its potential to serve the diverse and evolving the needs of the communities we operate in. I am always looking for new ways to improve our store performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
