The best part of my job is talking to our clients and prospective clients and really getting to understand what it is they require out of our venue to make their event a success. I love the planning leading up to an event, making sure that everything is in place so that things run smoothly on the day. It is good to chat with organisers and the delegates on the day and after the event to make sure that we take any action needed to improve our service. We all work as a closely knit team here and we are very customer focussed so I do run regular planning meetings to make sure the team all play an important part in making this venue work for everyone, visitors and staff alike. And then there is all the background work that needs to be done to keep the building and the environment in it clean, smart and safe.
