Our projects consist of peer to peer support in close collaboration with our partners. Palestine, Georgia, Cambodia and Mozambique are examples of countries where I have engaged in capacity building. The position requiers skills in project management, communication, cultural sensitiveness, a lot of flexibility as well as tecnical skills in performance audit and advisory.

Fair Action is a non-profit organisation promoting responsible business. The organisation scrutinizes the working conditions for Swedish companies´ suppliers in developing countries. One of my main achievements was a report about the abuse of Burmese migrant workers in hotels used by Swedish tour operators in Thailand. The report was widely spread through articles in Bangkok Post, Burmese newspapers and Reuters, as well as in the Swedish national television and radio. Moreover, I was co-responsible for an awareness campaign about the right to water. The campaign reached over 200 000 views on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

I conducted performance audits assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of the public entities. In addition to my work in Sweden, I supported the development of peer institutions in South Africa and Mozambique through advisory services including on the job training and workshops.

I carried out analyses of the housing market, for example househould´s purchasing power in relation to rental levels and the maintenance obligation of the landlords. I was also involved in PR campaigns.

I promoted Swedish trade and launched the sustainability concept SymbioCity in Bogotá as part of Business Sweden´s establishment in Colombia. In addition, I worked with international development cooperation for Sida.
