Responsible for maintaining and organizing the calendar and surgical schedules in a fast paceOBGYN office for six surgeons. Scheduled office and medical procedures for patients with their doctor utilizing appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes ensuring all medical equipment is available and onsite for office and hospital base procedures. Revised schedules as cancellations and/or additions occur and communicated with the appropriate personnel. Edited, proofread, and verified information, collaborating with the physician, radiologist, surgeon, nursing staff, technologists and anesthesiology as appropriate.Followed complex scheduling guidelines and interpreted orders and treatment plans intoappropriately scheduled appointments.Interfaces with appropriate hospital and office staff to establish a cohesive working relationshipin patient care services to include insurance companies with each individual patient.
