As an export compliance manager, I am a skilled program manager who thrives in a task rich environment. I am well versed in policy and several import/export regulations, to include the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. Customs. Prior to Raytheon, I have over five years of legal experience. I routinely interpreted law reviews, published studies, and financial reports. I am experienced in legal research, data analysis, process analysis, client management and legal document drafting. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts. I majored in Political Science with concentrations in Public Administration.Complimenting my legal experience is my extensive volunteer involvement as a military talent advocate and strategist. I was the co- founder and Network Lead Of the Military Spouse Professional Network - Davis Monthan, a non profit under the umbrella of Hiring our Heroes. This US Chamber of Commerce program focuses on a cause near and dear to my heart: finding meaningful employment for career-minded military spouses. In this position I managed a leadership board, develop chapter processes, and meet with community leaders. I have also been a VITA tax preparer, nonprofit fundraiser, and restitution advocate for victims. These roles have not only allowed me to diversify and gain extensive management experience, but more importantly they have allowed me to give back to my community.

Supported the Financial Litigation Unit and the Administrative Civil Enforcement (ACE) division. Primary duties included: performing legal analysis of relevant case law and published studies; drafting legal documents and correspondence. Responsible for summarizing the Civil Division’s large incoming discovery documents and generating digestible reports. Documents analysis includes: financial records, email correspondence, medical records, and expert reports from opposing counsel. Created a new process for analyzing incoming data, which saved the office thousands of dollars. This process started from receiving over 500 records, each of which averaged 100 pages and had numerous technical reports. Due to my analysis of relevant data a multi-million dollar claim is pending.

Assisted the 4th Judicial District in Colorado Springs, CO in the Juvenile Division from August 2014 - February 2015. Expedited the Juvenile Department’s investigative process by analyzing photos, reports, and 911 calls from multiple local police stations’ databases. Also assisted the Juvenile Restitution Coordinator by contacting victims and determining the proper restitution.Sheppard AFB Legal Office in the Military Justice section with their high caseload by aiding witness interviews, and reading preliminary reports to determine the proper charges. Developed charge explanation sheets for Commanders, which expedites UCMJ punishments.
