Key achievements included:• Led the business transformation from Industry Skills Council to Skills Service Organisation following Australian VET reform.• Developed business strategy to establish 11 Industry Reference Committees that represent aviation, transport and logistics, maritime, energy, water and utilities, public safety, police, fire, defence and corrections sectors.• Rebranded organisation, including development of new website and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategy.• Develop and implementation of three international VET capacity building projects for the Department of Education involving the establishment of skills recognition frameworks across Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) and Pacific Alliance communities.• High level and strategic analysis of policy, research and intelligence sources leading to the development of policy positions in consultation with the CEO and the Board.

• Development of leading-edge, high-quality analysis and intelligence on the profile and skills needs of the current and future transport and logistics workforce; including annual production of the Environmental Scan (8 editions).• Development of marketing and implementation strategies for the National Workforce Development Fund (NWDF) which involved 8822 workers across the Transport and Logistics Industry with a total training value of $33.7 million (which secured an additional enterprise contribution of $18.9 million).• Developed the Regulated Air Cargo Security Training Framework for the Australian Government.• Various research projects with University partners in areas including Australian Ports, Heavy Vehicle Licensing, and Return on Investment in Training• Aviation Training Package Specialist - brokered nationally agreed skills standards across industry and employee representatives and national regulator and Defence Aviation (Army, Navy and Airforce).• Development of careers resources for use by Industry, New Apprenticeship Centres and careers advisers.• Driving Performance Program Facilitator - facilitation and competency-based assessment of management development program for TNT Express.
