This position includes the supervision and management of the spawning, settlement and farming of Juvenile abalone. Key responsibilities includes: Spat production and settlement survival; Management of food and feeding for juvenile abalone; Visual inspections of Abalone batches; Supervising and day planning of Nursery staff; General Hygiene & Implementation of Biosecurity

RESPONSIBILITIES HATCHERY : 1 Overseeing the splitting of batches and moving batches to grow-out : 2 Spat production and settlement survival : 3 Supervising and day planning of Hatchery staff : 4 Resolve any problems as they arise EXPORTS : 1 Overseeing the grading for live exports : 2 Managing staff in a time frame for exports : 3 Overseeing the loading of the exports

Key responsibilities: Assisting the production Manager with the total stock functions; Packing and exports of abalone; Oversee the day-to-day performance of the store team and other Teams as required

Key responsibilities: Implementing and monitoring of SOP’s; General Admin and office work; Data processing of grow-out abalone; Packing of live Abalone; Assisting with R&D experiments

Assisting the Hatchery Manager with the spawning process, larval rearing and coordination of juvenile abalone stock
