I have been creating and selling art as a hobby for the last ten years. After attending Saint Scholastica for school and taking various art classes, I graduated with a minor degree in Fine Art and much knowledge in the fields of painting, drawing, color theory, and art history. My interests in mediums range from acrylic to graphite/pencil to watercolor. Some of my favorite subject matter of choice includes outdoor and nature, still life, and sketch portraits.My work has been displayed and exhibited in a local restaurant in Ely, MN for the last 5 years. I have done acrylic paint work for Incredible Ely, as well as for the Ely Art Walk in the winter. I have collaborated with businesses to create several murals, as well, mainly focused on the outdoors theme that Ely is so well known and prized for.Additionally, I have completed several logo designs and signage for local businesses, the school, and sports teams. These have included propane businesses, outdoor facilities, high school hockey teams, PTO t-shirt designs, and restaurants. Most recently I have been completing commissioned projects from individual art buyers/collectors, oftentimes sentimental in nature. It has helped me to broaden my subject matter and really work to create what my clients want.
