I work this department alone and take care of over 20 advisers plus any leavers business.I have always had a monthly target to achieve across the roles, and so far, have never missed that target.The job entails the following:• Contacting clients to resolve issues with payments for their policies (Life Insurance and Income Protection)• Liaising with Insurance Providers• Help the company achieve better results by running reports to find trends and reasons for lapses in order to prevent them and then run training programs with them.• Mentor and train new advisers on their retention. • Reassure clients who are looking to cancel their cover, persuade them to either keep their current policy by running through the benefits of their cover, or help them investigate alternative options.• Update the CRM system with information provided to us by the insurers via reports or notifications• Commission matching on CRM system.•Liaise with insurers to discuss ways to improve persistency rates and reduce lapses.•Follow up with all clients to ensure they have received all documents and are happy with everything and handle any queries.•Regular meetings with Sales managers to discuss possible retention improvements and implement positive changes.
