Lead a team of 70+ personnel and an additional 40+ subcontractor teams providing science and engineering research and development for AFRL as a prime contractor. Manage the recruiting, evaluating, hiring, and training of aerospace professionals such as engineering technicians, engineers, research scientists, and administrative personnel.

Contract Laboratory Manager for ERC on the Research in Propulsion Science contract. Developed standard operating procedures and processes for aerospace propulsion and control system testing and evaluation at the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) of Edwards Air Force Base, California. Managed laboratory analysts, co-op students, and technicians through test and evaluation activities. Provided expertise in chemical analyses test planning, methodologies, procedures, and reporting of aerospace solids, liquids and gases to support the Edwards AFB manned and unmanned aircraft (F-22, B-2, F-15, F-35, Global Hawk, NASA Dryden, etc.). Worked closely with various Government and contractor customers for both routine evaluations and one-of-a-kind analyses requiring unique methodology development. Interfaced with customers to define needs and prioritize resources and scheduling, requirements and specifications (including MIL-Spec and ASTM). Provided statistical post-test data reduction, oral and written reports, methodology development/enhancement, and research and development for new propellant compounds. Utilized root-cause analysis to troubleshoot system level issues and develop a satisfactory solution. Application of probability and statistics for determining validity of results. Managed calibration certification and traceability of laboratory instrumentation/ standards.
