- Wrote compelling and creative text for a variety of print and digital platforms, including Calvary's website, blog, print and e-newsletters, email solicitations, fundraising appeals, and social media sites- Created and distributed press releases, press kits, background sheets, op-eds and other materials- Managed all of Calvary's social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, flickr)- Collaborated with the events and donor relations associate to lead online fundraising campaigns and execute social media and PR plans for events- Led outreach efforts for Calvary’s participation in the United Way and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) charity events

- Researched and wrote feature and background articles, press releases, fact sheets, advisories, and audiovisual presentations- Supported in-house editorial and content needs for web and print materials - Wrote, edited and distributed "Tell Me More" and "This Week & Next" newsletters- Assisted the director of communications & marketing with outside media inquiries- Provided administrative support for the communications department by facilitating all meeting arrangements, compiling reports, taking minutes, and updating records
