I'm back at Auckland Council within the Recruitment and Talent department, specialising in Operations and Campaigns looking after the Auckland Libraries portfolio. Auckland Libraries is currently the largest public library network in the Southern Hemisphere with 55 branches across the region.All around the world libraries are changing as customers demand more digital resources and a greater range of services. While kids are still learning to read using traditional paperbacks, they're also adept on an iPad, can Google just about anything, and know their way around social media platforms from an early age. It's now common to see young people in our libraries experiencing storytelling through Minecraft sessions, learning how to use a 3D printer, or studying robotics.I'm passionate about attracting the right talent to meet the changing needs of our customers and providing world-class library services for all Aucklanders.

Citta Design is a design house based in Auckland, brining fresh, coordinated, contemporary range of New Zealand designed homeware which is globally inspired by a relaxed philosophy of life and travel.As HR Coordinator my prime role is to provide exceptional support to the HR Manager in all facets of the HR function for 190 employees.I provide all aspects of HR administration and coordination for the business covering a range of HR practices, policies and projects.I'm highly involved in all aspects of end to end recruitment, on-boarding new employees, processing and maintaining employee records / databaseI'm involved in the accurate and timely processing for fortnightly and monthly payroll activities, as well as advising internal clients on a range of queries across the HR spectrum on a daily basis.

Auckland Council is one of the most diverse organisations in New Zealand, with 83 different businesses contributing to large-scale projects that shape Auckland. My role as Recruitment Advisor was to work in partnership with managers to provide effective recruitment advise, support and guidance to ensure Council attracted and appointed the right people at all levels of the organisation.Key Activities & Responsibilities:Recreation Facilities: For 15 months I managed high volume recruitment needs of Recreation Facilities within Auckland Council. This included; Manukau Leisure, West Wave, North Shore Leisure, The Leisure Centre - Stanmore Bay and the refurbished iconic Tepid Baths, with an FTE850. I provided a full end to end recruitment services for all roles within this portfolio and assisted in the development and facilitation of in-house assessment centres for leisure staff.Finance Division: Prior to this I provided advice, support and training in all aspects of recruitment to the Finance division which included Finance, Accounting Services, Treasury, Property and City Parks. This was a significant portfolio within the business with FTE800 with a wide variety of roles up to Executive level.Auckland Transition Agency: Before my permanent appointment at Auckland Council, I was contracting to the ATA to assist with the management and delivery of internal recruitment for the transition of staff from existing local government organisations to the new Auckland Council structure.

TfL is a local government body responsible for the transport system in Greater London. It has responsibility for London’s network of principal roads routes, various rail networks including the London Underground/Overground, London's trams, buses and taxis, cycling provision, and for river services. My role here was on a Fixed Term Contract to conduct a review of the working practices of the satellite recruitment teams to highlight inconsistencies and make recommendations for improvement.Key Activities & Responsibilities: Responsible for the management of specialist satellite recruitment teams within TfL to ensure delivery of a high quality recruitment service to meet the needs and demands of key stakeholders.Managed and monitored recruitment campaigns to ensure the delivery of agreed SLA’s.Undertook a review of the satellite teams working practices against the service centre model,highlighted inconsistencies and produced action plans to address anomalies.Provided line management direction and support to individual satellite team members to ensureattainment of objectives.
