• Reporting directly to the PPD MD, working closely with him to develop the strategy, structure & execution in market, assist in major contract negotiations & forming an integral part of the management committee. Highlighting to him key opportunities & areas of risk, brainstorming solutions & implementing across the business.• Working alongside the 4 brand General Managers & their Management teams to roll out the strategy, perform / exceed financial targets & maximise the commercial opportunities. The brand models include a significant direct sales team, wholesalers & distributors.• Responsible for the Finance (Management Information, Internal & External Reporting, Planning & Budgeting, Controlling & Financial Strategy), Commercial Contracts & IT for the 8 brands within the division.• Developing strong working relationships internally (Paris Head Office – Regional MD & FD, UK Legal Counsel, FD & MD) and externally with the major customers & new conquests (including T&G, Rush, Saks, Andrew Barton & Urban Retreat)• The division had successive sales growth over the 3 years and became the most profitable PPD division worldwide.• Team of 11, 4 Finance, 1 Commercial Controller, 6 IT (Systems & Master data)• Control key KPI’s – Stock, Debt, Headcount, Salon Finance• Negotiate with banks to provide salon finance

• Took over a very troubled division and turned around the team, motivation & financial results (+26% 1st yr, +22% 2nd yr), resulting in Vichy becoming the biggest skincare brand in the Netherlands.• Developed a local strategy, re-structured the teams (providing training, support & motivation), co-ordinated actions &functions to ensure maximum results. Staff turnover fell from 50% to 2.5% p.a. • Launched a new brand (La Roche Posay) – developed the strategy to roll out the brand in a non-classic market, lobbied Paris for support & approval, recruited team & Key Opinion leaders, won distribution points in key locations• Managing all functions; Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations - team of 42 people
