Responsible for new employee orientation, payroll administration, benefits/compensation and facilitating onboarding meetings for new employees. Manage and process payroll for all new hires averaging 300 annually using SAP. Coach employees on sick time, vacation, compensation and maternity leave processes. Maintain Sobeys Intranet postings, the value champion program, service awards and SAP data integrity. Act as the first point of contact for all human resource related activities and assist human resource managers with administrative processes. Support the Lead HR Manager & HR Director with special projects and deployment of HR programs. Generate organizational structure, compensation & performance management reports from SuccessFactors and SAP for the HR Lead.

Responsible for providing support to the Franchise and Corporate locations concerning payroll, benefits and pension inquires, year-end reconciliation, PIER evaluations, amended T4’s, and special payment requests. Provided reports on labour, overtime and employee lists to Human Resource managers, Finance and Legal. Was part of the project that converted franchise and corporate stores in all banners from ADP to SAP. Responsible for running period end reports and provided to Finance.
