I have more than 26 years of NEPA experience and have managed or contributed to more than 100 EISs and EAs to date. I've worked on NEPA projects with 9 different lead federal agencies and more than 10 cooperating agencies. This varied experience allows me to quickly and clearly understand a particular agency’s protocols for implementing NEPA. I am proficient in leading large-scale NEPA interdisciplinary teams and through my project experience I have direct involvement and knowledge of how the NEPA process interfaces with other processes such as the ESA, Section 106 consultations, the Wilderness Act, and Section 404 processes. In addition to a project specific knowledge of the NEPA process, I am also a facilitator for comprehensive NEPA training for the Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service. As an operations director for SWCA, I manage a subregion with natural resource specialists, archaeologists, permitting specialists, and planners. My people are my passion and what drives me to develop opportunities, grow the team, and try to create an environment of open, honest, and caring feedback.
