Secured and administered Georgia’s first NOAA Community Based Restoration project with GA Dept. of Natural Resources and the U.S. EPA.Influenced water management in China's Yunnan Province, the African countries of Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique and Australia.

Teach marine policy to graduate students (both as guest lecturer and part time staff) at HBUC and mentor students through internships

Prepared reports and briefings given to Reserve Leadership and Fisheries Managers, collaborated with scientists at Skidaway Inst. of Oceanography and supported NSF GA Coastal Ecosystem – Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) grant, secured funding for projects and research, worked with local fishermen to collect data and identify critical issues in the fishery and trained Georgia public school science educators (LTER-Schoolyard initiative).

As full time graduate researcher and student, developed and published curricula and lab manual for two thirteen-week marine science course for the University of Georgia Department of Marine Sciences, supervised and trained eleven staff.
