•Designed and delivered engaging and interactive staff professional development to thousands of educators (employees and managers) across 86 schools on various topics at the local, state, and international levels, including eLearning/virtual learning methods and utilizing adult learning strategies.•Analyzed data and created reports related to student, family, employee, and management needs assessments, programming goals, performance indicators, and stakeholder engagement to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. •Coordinated integration of 50 additional assets (Military Family Life Counselors) as division point of contact. Conducted training, devised best practices and resources, and collaborated with school-level administrators on personnel concerns. •Developed criteria and procedures and used them to evaluate the effectiveness of training new counselors at the division and building levels, including surveys of staff.•Instructed educational staff in developing and strengthening their internal training in a train-the-trainer model.•Established the Military School Counselor program, including developing short and long-term programming goals, action plans, milestones, and procedures. •Collaborated with internal colleagues from a variety of departments and facilitated extensive partnerships with external community organizations with a focus on equity and inclusion.•Pioneered a program to inform military families of the college process & military education benefits called "College Options for Military Students (COMS)." This grew from 25 attendees to over 500 annually. •Conducted classroom guidance, parent presentations, small group and individual lessons on career and college readiness, academic and career planning, graduation requirements, STEM opportunities, study skills, & social-emotional lessons. •Interpreted policies to assist counselors, administrators and families while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
