Office Management:• Ongoing development, review and management of all office and surgery administration and operational systems.• Overseeing the general day to day running of the office - ensuring a well-run professional practice and that all workloads and tasks are completed in a thorough and timely manner.• Role modeling and setting a standard of exceptional and thorough service, attention and care.• Monitor and maintain office supplies.• Creation of staff training resources and overseeing and training new staff.• Monitor and prepare reports for overdue accounts ensuring these are attended too.• Oversee and assist with reception duties as neededSecretarial:• Transcribing doctor’s daily dictations.• Prepare correspondence on behalf of doctor.Medical and Clinical:• Head procedure assistant for daily skin surgery. Oversee infection control and autoclave sterilising. Prepare patient for surgery, assist the doctor during surgery.  Attend to patient clean up and dressings and provide aftercare instructions.  Complete set up and clean up for surgical procedures.  Draw up the local anesthetic and prepare any items needed for surgery. Monitor procedure room cleanliness.  Monitor and order all medical stock and supplies.• Knowledge and ability to prepare doctor and patient for special medical services (patch testing, UVB treatment, Iontophoresis, PDT, Botox ).• HPOS/PRODA - PBS doctor’s delegate. Submit and monitor applications, and stationery ordering.• VMO delegate for doctors – submit monthly claims to hospital.Dermatological and Aesthetic Services Knowledge:• Tixel• Laser• The miraDry treatment• IPL• UVB Broadband light• Patch Testing to diagnose contact dermatitis• Iontophoresis• PDT Daylight Therapy• Botox for underarm sweatingMarketing and Online Presence:• Lambton & Chatswood websites and facebook .• Google business listing.• Creation of marketing and promoting materials.
