With over 15 years of experience in Research and the biotechnology industry, I am passionate about finding and hiring the best talent for Vir, a company that is developing innovative therapies for infectious diseases. As the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition, I oversee the recruitment strategy, process, and team for Vir's research and development functions, working closely with senior leadership and the hiring managers to understand their needs and align them with the company's vision and culture. I also leverage my own background and skills as a cell and molecular biologist, which I obtained from my Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University and 8 years of progressive research experience, to assess the technical and scientific competencies of the candidates and to communicate the value proposition of working at Vir.
