  I oversee the day-to-day operations of the Collections Department, including the supervision and management of Registration and Exhibition Design/Preparation staff. I manage the Collection, including storage and gallery maintenance, and climate control and environmental monitoring. Additionally, I manage the registration system and Collections' data integrity, and maintain objects files. I develop, interpret, and implement associated policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to American Alliance of Museums best practices and Florida State University policies and procedures. I develop and monitor department and project budgets, as well as the coordination of logistics for national and international traveling exhibitions and loans, including contract review and negotiation and establishing insurance requirements. As required, I serve as a museum courier. I oversee the scheduling of installation and deinstallation of temporary exhibitions and permanent collections across all venues and serve on the Disaster Planning and Response Team. I am responsible for updating and maintaining emergency plans for the Collections Department. I additionally serve as liaison to the Collections Committee of the Ringling Board, preparing materials for the committee, as required. I serve as a member of Ringling Senior Staff and actively collaborate with and support both the Curatorial Department and Conservation team. I also support and supervise Collections department interns and fellows, and provide required training to staff and students.
