Since 2006, Ayers has been creating high profile marketing and fundraising campaigns in the Washington, DC area serving as the Dealers Election Action Committee Coordinator of the National Automobile Dealers Association, and, later, as Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator of the Marine Corps Marathon, Corporate Sales Executive of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Sponsorship Manager of the Army Ten-Miler, and Sponsorship Manager of Headquarters, Marine Corps, Business and Support Services Division. As DEAC Coordinator of the NADA, Ayers contributed to the third largest PAC in the nation by coordinating their political donation campaign. As Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator of the Marine Corps Marathon, Ayers contributed to the tremendous growth of the sponsorship program by expanding the event schedule, adding many new sponsor partners, building upon the healthy kids initiative and implementing new fundraising tactics to support the MCM Charity Partners. As Corporate Sales Executive of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Ayers contributed to the Inaugural Season of the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants which lead the Eastern League in overall and average attendance in the 2010 season. As Sponsorship Manager of the Army Ten-Miler, Ayers increased the total sponsorship revenue by 40% in two years of service. A native of Richmond, VA and graduate of George Mason University, Ayers began her career as a building manager and event staff employee of GMU's Athletic Department. Now, Ayers is the Business Development Specialist for Headquarters, Marine Corps. Ayers looks forward to supporting Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) programs, services and events as well as all USMC Installations worldwide.
