As an owner (but not really the operator) of Generous Benefits, I do a lot of behind-the-scenes work. I oversee and often take lead on our branding, strategy, and marketing including brand story, website, blog, social media, print materials, swag, and event sponsorships. I also co-host and produce the Generous Impact podcast, a passion project of Bret Brummitt's (my adorable husband) that lives within Generous Benefits. These are all in my wheelhouse and tasks that I do for my clients at Brummitt Group. Responsible for operations, strategy, and oversight of practice with 85+ Anesthesiologists. Facilitate budget, business planning, strategic decisions, payor and facility contract negotiation, facility/surgeon/vendor relationships, acquisitions, and litigation. Full time until December 2011 and consulting capacity after that.

Dynamic position with wide variety of responsibilies. Member of the Executive Team that actively participated in the development of the hospital’s strategic business plan. Responsible for all physician relations, including recruitment, business growth, and retention. Oversaw all aspects of marketing, including print advertising, community events, open houses, newsletters, press releases, hospital website, referral line, and branding of the hospital. Highlights included:•Recruited and facilitated income guarantees for 17 physicians•Facilitated over 80 physician agreements from negotiation to execution to include recruiting agreements, professional service agreements, and healthcare service agreements•Worked closely with 40 large employers and 30 schools in the primary service area promoting hospital services and overall health promotion. 8:1 ROI for the program.•Facilitated over 125 speaking engagements with physicians and over 75 health screenings

Maintained and developed client relationships, sourced leads for placement, procured advertising campaigns, and trained recruiters. Successfully filled 25 searches, brought in 31 retained agreements, and maintained relationships with 50+ clients. Secured 21 retainers and filled 13 searches in 2002, breaking all previous company records.
