Packing, organizing, and helping busy professionals figure out what to wear and how to eat and exercise while bleisuring are just a few of my superpowers. My business (amandabusbyinc.) helps travelers stay organized and in control.I’ve done everything from makeup design for major beauty brands like Aveda, MAC, and Smashbox and “spokes modeling” for Nintendo, Microsoft, Lexus, American Express, Victoria’s Secret Sport, and the PGA. A theater major, event planner and personal trainer, I know how important presenting well AND feeling good are to business performance — on and off the road.

I have worked in the promotional industry for the last five years as a promotional model, event coordinator and event manager for various promotional companies and marketing agencies in the Twin Cities area. I have represented such companies as Nintendo, Microsoft, Lexis, and American Express as well as special events such as the PGA and LPGA. Working with both short and long term programs, my experience has included planning, coordinating and executing our promotional events and all marketing material. Managing our staff and team, small to large groups of clients, and also overseeing the effective set up and execution of the event.

I have been in the makeup industry for 14 years and specialize in “beauty makeup”, focusing on the uniqueness of each individual. My enthusiasm for creative color began with a strong background in theatre make-up. Having been actively involved with multiple makeup lines, I have learned many different fashion and glamour techniques. Also I have worked closely in studio, commercial, fashion, wedding, and print. I received formal training from Concordia University Theatrical Makeup, Metamorphosis Make-up Artistry (Christ Ballas), Elizabeth Arden, Smashbox, and Aveda. For the past 10 years I have also been working with Aveda's Freelance Artist program, where I do specialty make-up and training for various salon events across the cites. However, most of my work is providing on-site make-up for brides, bridal parties and other major events (such as runway models and photo shoots).
