Building partnerships with national and regional foundations, corporations, investors, and individuals to advance employee ownership (EO) as a means to strengthen small businesses, create quality jobs, and build wealth for workers.

Partnered with the Chief Development Officer to execute on a regionally focused engagement model with over 400 business, government, and community organizations and 3,000 individual members. This required restructuring the development department and collaborating with internal teams to engage donors in our research, education, and advocacy efforts. As a result, our team exceeded $7M+ revenue goals – including raising over $2.5M in membership and event sponsorships, retaining 95% of our business members, and welcoming over 50 new corporate partners. Co-led a task force in 2021 to transition the majority of public programs (100+ annually) to be free for everyone; this required repositioning the value of membership to highlight impact rather than transactional benefits.

Developed a regional strategy for foundation relations and grants management to prepare the organization to hire a full-time grants manager.

Managed philanthropic giving and stewardship of corporate, individual, and foundation donors in Silicon Valley. Coordinated monthly business events and affinity groups for member engagement.Planned and managed all aspects of the inaugural SPUR Impact Awards - a 350 person luncheon to honor the contributions of public sector employees. Assisted with Salesforce NPSP implementation to boost organizational efficiency and productivity.

Consulted with over 170 small business clients on complex human resources solutions to mitigate risk, ensure compliance with labor and employment laws, and streamline administration. Transitioned CRM system to Microsoft Dynamics - managing the customization, data migration and staff training processes.

Guided 100+ clients with the acquisition of enterprise retail and wholesale inventory and POS software, website, and technology solutions Created video tutorials to enhance customer experience. Implemented the company’s first CRM platform – Salesforce - for effective sales and client management.

Executed wholesale orders for 20 key corporate accounts and established sales goals and KPIs for 30+ independent, nationwide sales representatives.
