With a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology and specialized expertise in exercise physiology, occupations in neurology-related fields, and a strong interest in research/assessments have sparked my interest in becoming a Research Assistant. Previously, as an Neuro-deficient Exercise Specialist at Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Center of Houston, I honed my skills in therapeutic training techniques. This contributed to the advancement of the patient's mobility, formation relationships, a deep understanding of their injury and how to individualize their treatment. The combination of my clinical background and passion for dance/movement allows me to empower clients, fostering a culture of healing through exercise science. My intent in pursuing a master's degree in health science and an internship at paralysis institutes is to contribute to the health research field.
